Bev's Breakfast Dish


Ingredients

  • 1 (8ounce) cans diced green chile peppers, drained
  • 1lb shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1lb cottage cheese
  • 10 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 stick butter

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F . Grease an 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Beat Flour with eggs until smooth. Add baking powder and salt.
  3. Mix cottage cheese, green chili's and cheddar cheese.
  4. Melt butter and pour into the bottom of 9x13 baking pan so that the bottom is completely coated
  5. Pour remaining butter into mixture and stir till mixed
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
