
2 sm pkg. black cherry gelatin
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. cold water
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
2 can sweet black cherries, drained
1 c. walnuts

Method
Drain black cherries saving juice for cold water. Place cherries in 8x9 pan. In another bowl mix Jell-o and boiling water. Dissolve. Use liquid from cherries and add to 1 1/2 c cold liquid. Pour this into a 8x9 pan with cherries. Cut cream chease in very small pieces and place in cooled jell-o and top cool whip and walnuts.Recipe from Grandma Gordon
