Chocolate Almond Torte Cake


Ingredients

1 pkg Pillsbury Plus Dark Chocolate Cake Mix
1 1/4 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp almond extract
3 eggs
1/2 c almonds (fine chopped) (save 1 T for the top)


Frosting

1 can Pillsbury ready made milk chocolate frosting
1 pkg cream cheese
1 tsp almond extract
8 oz cool whip


Method

Grease and flour 3- 8" or 9" round cake pans Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 min. Cool.
In large bowl, combine all frosting ingredients except for cool whip. After combined add cool whip. Spread on cooled cake layers.
